Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) use these devices extremely because of restricted and repetitive interests. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the use of digital devices with feeding and sleep problems in young children with ASD symptoms. Method: The present research was a cross-sectional study. 45 young children with ASD symptoms between 16 and 36 months were selected by convenience sampling method. Data were collected using a lifestyle checklist, the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT), the Gilliam Autism Rating Scale (GARS-2), and the Feeding Problem Inventory (FPI). Pearson correlation coefficient and enter regression were used to analyze the data. Results: Pearson correlation coefficient and simultaneous regression analysis showed that children's use of digital devices had a significant relationship with sleeping late (p <05, r = 0.30), limited food interests (p <05, r = 0 / 31), the mother's dissatisfaction with the child's feeding (p <05, r = 0.32) and the total score of feeding problems (p <05, r = 0.31) in young children and explain 0.09, 0.11, 0.10 and 0.13% of the changes related to the above variables, respectively. Conclusion: More use of digital devices by children with ASD symptoms is associated with the problems in late sleep and limited food interest diversity, maternal dissatisfaction with the child's feeding behavior and feeding problems in general. It seems necessary to provide interventions to manage the use of digital devices in children with autism spectrum disorders symptoms.}, keywords = {Digital device use,Autism spectrum disorder,Sleep problems,Feeding problems}, title_fa = {نقش میزان استفاده از وسایل دیجیتال در پیش‌بینی مشکلات خواب و تغذیهِ خردسالان با علائم اختلال طیف اُتیسم زیر سه سال}, abstract_fa = {هدف: دسترسی خردسالان به وسایل دیجیتال در سال های اخیر افزایش چشمگیری داشته است. افراد با اختلال طیف اُتیسم به دلیل علائق محدود و تکراری بیشتر از این وسایل استفاده می کنند. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی ارتباط بین میزان استفاده از وسایل دیجیتال با مشکلات تغذیه و خواب خردسالان با علائم اختلال طیف اُتیسم انجام شد. روش: مطالعه حاضر از نوع مقطعی بود. 45 خردسال بین 16 الی 36 ماه با روش نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. داده ها با استفاده از چک‌لیست سبک زندگی، چک‌لیست ویرایش شده اُتیسم در کودکان نوپا (M-CHAT)، مقیاس درجه‌بندی اُتیسم گیلیام (GARS-2) و پرسشنامۀ مشکلات غذا خوردن (FPI) جمع آوری شد. برای تحلیل داده ها از ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و رگرسیون همزمان استفاده شد. یافته ها: نتایج ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل رگرسیون همزمان نشان داد که میزان استفاده خردسالان از وسایل دیجیتال رابطۀ معنی داری با دیرخوابیدن (p <05، r=0/30)، علائق محدود غذایی (p <05، r=0/31)، رضایت مادر از غذاخوردن کودک (p <05، r=0/32) و نمرۀ کل مشکلات تغذیه (p <05، r=0/31) در خردسالان دارد و به ترتیب 09/0، 11/0، 10/0 و 13/0 درصد از تغییرات مربوط به متغیرهای بالا را به طور معنیداری تبیین میکند. نتیجه گیری: استفادۀ بیشتر کودکان با علائم اختلال طیف اُتیسم از وسایل دیجیتال با تشدید مشکل دیر خوابیدن و تنوع غذایی محدود، نارضایتی مادر از رفتار تغذیه‌ای کودک و به‌طورکلی مشکلات تغذیه همراه است. ارائۀ مداخلات با هدف مدیریت استفاده خردسالان با علائم اختلال طیف اُتیسم از وسایل دیجیتال ضروری به نظر می رسد.}, keywords_fa = {Digital device use,Autism spectrum disorder,Sleep problems,Feeding problems}, url = {https://apsy.sbu.ac.ir/article_101089.html}, eprint = {https://apsy.sbu.ac.ir/article_101089_8e0778da38d975f34613e15b20df6f5c.pdf} }
