Method: The study followed a single-subject design. The statistical population included 65 children with HFA (aged between 6 to10 years), 10 of which were selected through the convenience sampling from two centers: The center for the treatment of Autistic disorders (CTAD) and Behara Center for the treatment of Autistic disorders. The sample divided into small groups. Each group received 16 sessions of LEGO play. The duration of each session was about 60 minutes, twice a week. The assessments were repeated six times: Two baselines with two weeks interval, in the 8th session, one day after the end of the treatment and two follow-up sessions (two weeks and one month after termination of intervention). Gilliam Autism rating scale (Gilliam, 1995) and Autism social skills profile (Bellini and Bellini, ASSP; Bellini & Hopf, 2007) were administered during assessments. Data analyses included visual analyses/charts and effect sizes. Results: Results have shown that social skill scores have increased in the sample. The symptoms of autism (social interaction/communication problems) declined, while no change has observed in repetitive behavior score. The effect sizes have also shown that LEGO therapy could be effective in improving social skills and reducing the communication deficiencies in children with HFA. Conclusion: The results of this study support the role of LEGO therapy in improving social skills and social competence in children with HFA.}, keywords = {Autism,LEGO therapy,social skill,stereotypical behaviors}, title_fa = {اثربخشی لگو درمانی در بهبود مهارت‌های اجتماعی و کاهش علائم کودکان دچار اختلال اُتیسم با عملکرد بالا}, abstract_fa = {هدف: هدف پژوهش تعیین اثربخشی لگو درمانی در بهبود مهارت‌های اجتماعی و کاهش علائم کودکان دچار اختلال اُتیسم با عملکرد بالا بود. روش: روش مطالعه شبهآزمایشی از نوع طرح تک آزمودنی و جامعه آماری شامل 65 کودک پسر 6 تا 10 ساله دچار اختلال اُتیسم با عملکرد بالا مراجعه‌کننده به مرکز ساماندهی درمان و توان‌بخشی اختلال‌های اُتیستیک و مرکز آموزش و درمان اختلال‌های اُتیستیک به‌آرا در سال 1388بود. از میان آنها 10 کودک بهروش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شد. ابزار پژوهش مقیاس نمره‌گذاری اُتیسم گیلیام، 1995 و نیمرخ مهارت‌های اجتماعی اُتیسم بیلینی و هوپف (2007) بود. مهارت‌های اجتماعی با بهرهگیری از بازی لگو در 16 جلسه، هر جلسه بهمدت 60 دقیقه، هفتهای دو بار بهشکل گروهی دو یا سه نفره به آنها آموزش داده شد. ارزیابی‌ها در 6 مرحله، دو هفته پیش از شروع درمان، یک روز قبل از شروع درمان، بعد از هشت جلسه درمان، یک روز بعد از اتمام درمان و جلسه‌های پیگیری دو هفته و یک ماه بعد از اتمام درمان انجام شد. یافته‌ها: نتایج تحلیل دیداری و اندازه اثر نشان داد مهارت‌های اجتماعی کودکان دچار اختلال اُتیسم با عملکرد بالا، افزایش و علائم اُتیسم ازجمله مشکلات تعاملات اجتماعی/برقراری ارتباط کاهش یافته؛ اما تغییری در رفتارهای کلیشهای آنها ایجاد نشده است. نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این مطالعه از قابلیت کاربرد و کارایی لگو درمانی برای افزایش مهارت‌های اجتماعی و اصلاح کفایت اجتماعی در کودکان دچار اختلال اُتیسم با عملکرد بالا حمایت می‌کند.}, keywords_fa = {Autism,LEGO therapy,social skill,stereotypical behaviors}, url = {https://apsy.sbu.ac.ir/article_96868.html}, eprint = {https://apsy.sbu.ac.ir/article_96868_544a19fa094be1a85db265e21e0c562b.pdf} }
