کنترل کوششمند و اختلالات هیجانی-رفتاری درونی‌شده در کودکان: یک مرور سیستماتیک و فراتحلیل هم‌زمان

چکیده

هدف: پژوهش حاضر به مروری سیستماتیک و فراتحلیل هم‌زمان از مطالعات مربوط به ارتباط بین اختلالات هیجانی-رفتاری درونی شده به‌عنوان یکی از شایع‌ترین اختلالات دوران کودکی و نوجوانی، و سازۀ کنترل کوششمند به‌عنوان توانایی تنظیم رفتار، هیجانات و شناخت می‌پردازد. روش‌: مطالعات مرتبط از سال 2003 تا 2023 با استفاده از پایگاه‌های علمی معتبر و کلمات کلیدی مرتبط جستجو و هشت مطالعه با کیفیت بالا بر اساس بیانیه پریزما انتخاب شدند. تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نسخۀ سوم نرم‌افزار جامع فراتحلیل انجام شد. اندازه‌های اثر استخراج‌شده شامل 12 اندازه‌ اثر بود و به‌منظور در نظر گرفتن همگنی احتمالی بین مطالعات مدل اثرات تصادفی به کار گرفته شد. یافته ­ها: نتایج به‌دست‌آمده، ارتباط منفی معناداری را بین اختلالات هیجانی-رفتاری درونی شده و کنترل کوششمند نشان داد. اندازه اثر ترکیبی به‌دست‌آمده 42/0 و در سطح معنی‌داری 001/0 می‌باشد؛ که بر اساس معیار تفسیر اندازه اثر کوهن، یک اندازه اثر متوسط رو به بالا محسوب می‌شود. به‌عبارت‌دیگر، کاهش کنترل کوششمند با احتمال بالاتری از بروز اختلالات درونی شده در میان کودکان و نوجوانان همراه است. نتایج فراتحلیل اعتبار آماری بالایی را نشان داد و شواهدی مبنی بر اریب انتشار وجود نداشت و قابلیت اطمینان نتایج را تقویت کرد. نتیجه‌گیری: کنترل کوششمند نقش حیاتی در پیشگیری و درمان اختلالات هیجانی-رفتاری کودکی دارد. قوت نتایج به‌دست‌آمده با نمونه‌های سنی متنوع از سراسر جهان تأیید شد. تحقیقات آتی می‌بایست بر روی طراحی مداخلات مبتنی بر کنترل کوششمند متمرکز شوند تا به کاهش اختلالات هیجانی-رفتاری منجر گردد.

Aim: The present study conducts a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis of research related to the association between internalizing emotional-behavioral disorders, one of the most prevalent childhood and adolescence disorders, and effortful control, as the ability to regulate behavior, emotions, and cognition. Methods: Relevant studies from 2003 to 2023 were meticulously searched and screened using reputable scientific databases and keywords. Eight high-quality studies were selected based on the PRISMA statement. Data analysis was performed using the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software version 3. Effect sizes from the studies included 12 effect sizes, and the random-effects model was applied to account for potential heterogeneity among the studies. Results: The synthesis revealed a significant negative association between internalizing emotional-behavioral disorders and effortful control. The combined effect size, calculated at a significance level of 0.001, was 0.42 which according to Cohen's interpretation criterion, indicates a moderate-to-large effect of effortful control on internalizing disorders. Reduced effortful control is linked to a higher likelihood of experiencing internalizing disorders among children and adolescents. The meta-analysis demonstrated high statistical credibility and no evidence of publication bias, reinforcing the reliability of the results. Conclusion: Effortful control plays a crucial role in preventing and treating childhood emotional-behavioral disorders. The robustness of the results was supported by the inclusion of studies with diverse age samples from around the world. Future research should focus on evidence-based interventions that strengthen effortful control, leading to reduced emotional-behavioral disorders.
