Aims and Scope

The Journal of Applied Psychology (Appl Psychol), established in 2006, is a double-blind peer-reviewed quarterly journal, owned, managed & published by Shahid Beheshti University. The journal publishes original research articles that lead to the novel knowledge, innovation and understanding of the field of applied psychology. The major fields of specialization in the journal encompass clinical, educational, social, health, laboratory, and industrial aspects of psychology. The journal scope includes but not restricted to, the following areas:

• Clinical disorders, counseling and psychotherapy
• Individual differences in ability, personality, and other characteristics
• Cognitive, motivational, emotional, psychological and neuropsychological
• Health and stress, health and well-being
• Intercultural differences and diversity in behavior and attitudes
• Family, marriage, parenting practices
• Testing, training, learning and skills acquisition
• Creativity, innovation, and adaptation

Journal of Applied Psychology is accredited by the Scientific Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The journal has been ranked as Grade A in the latest evaluation  of science, research and technology.

The journal is published in Persian, with abstracts provided in English.

Journal of Applied Psychology is published as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.
