Aim: Aim of study was determine rate of the effectiveness of group training concepts of Bowen’ systemic approach on mothers’ differentiation. Methods: Methods was quasi experimental with pretest, posttest and a follow up of two months and the statistical community were all women living in Fajr city the number of 430 persons in 2012 years. 150 mothers with children aged 5 to 12, who had criteria for our study, were selected randomly and from among them, 30 women randomly were replaced in two groups experimental group (N= 15) and control group (N= 15). Experimental group received 17 sessions education of Bowen’ systemic approach within eight weeks, every session was 90-minutes. Both group completed Askwron (2003) questionnaire. Data processing was used with covariance analysis and repeated measurement analysis. Results: Results showed concepts teaching of Bowen’ systemic approach in experimental group has significant affect on the overall score of differentiation, emotional reactivity, emotional escape and emotional fusion with others, but did not significant effect on ego status compare with the control groups. Also follow up after two months showed significant effect on all of subscales in experimental group. Conclusion: Due to Bowen’ systematic approach as effective approach on mothers’ differentiation, it can be used to increase the rate of maternal differentiation in Iranian community.
