Abstract

Objective: mindfulness is an effective method in order to reduce stress and increase the life quality of sick people affected with ailment. The aim of this research was to study the efficacy mindfulness based on stress reduction on controlling Glycemic and reducing anxiety of diabetics with due attention to BIS type of personality.
Method: So in this experimental research (Pre-testing, post-testing) 30 diabetic with diabetes type 2 (15 experimental group and 15 controlled group) which all were the members of Tehran's Diabetes association, were invited to take part in the research mindfulness was presented in 8 session weekly. Before and after the cure program, Hemoglobin(HbA1c) was measured as an indicator for measuring blood glucose level. In order to analyzing the data co-variance method was used.
